The Immerse Yourself WebVR project, was a commission by Subject Matter gallery based in London to develop a WebVR solo exhibition for Italian artist Alice Marinelli.

In a perpetual dialogue with the artist we learned that the artist's writings were central to her practice. As a result we decided to make her own words fundamental to the spatial design.

 

Other essential features in developing this project included the principles of Metalevel design as described by Romero in his article Exhibiting in VR (2018) and Giuseppe Battista Piranesi's (1729-1778) architectural theories.
